As we mentioned above, there will be no quick walk back to your room to grab something you forgot. You could get lost inside the hotel itself, so it is important you bring comfortable walking shoes. At most conferences, you want to pack this since you will be running back and forth to different sessions. You especially want to bring this when you’re running back and forth through Gaylord Opryland.
While you’re at conferences, your phone tends to die just a little faster. Normally this is because your phone is searching for service among the thousands of other attendees. Not to mention if you start to use your phone to look things up that you’ve learned throughout the day or add some new connections on LinkedIn. A portable charger is best so that you don’t have to be stuck to a wall for an hour, but a regular charger will do if that is all you have.
For some reason, and we’re not sure why, every conference tends to be a tad cold. Conference halls and hotels are always cranking the air conditioning, so we suggest that you bring a light sweater with you to keep warm. You’re at Epicor Insights to soak up as much as you can about using the product to better your business and it will be way too hard to focus when you’re more concerned about how freezing you feel.
Epicor Insights will have a lunch provided halfway through the day, but it’s always a good idea to bring cash just in case. Sometimes the conference coffee just isn’t doing the trick or you need a snack towards the end of the day to make it. Keeping cash on you will help you stay awake and focused just when you need it.
We’ve mentioned quite a few things that you will need a backpack to carry around, but there is tons more that you will accumulate while you’re at the conference. Every Epicor Insights exhibitors brings brochures and little gifts that you can bring home. Some bring sunglasses, some bring trade show “survival kits” and some even have water bottles and coffee mugs. If you want to get in on the free gift action at Epicor Insights, be sure to bring a backpack to bring it all home in.
